HATCH Global Network Expands with Inaugural Mexico Summit
On April 1st the inaugural HATCH Mexico Summit launched in Rodavento, Valle De Bravo, two hours outside of Mexico City. By all counts it was amazing and inspiring. The land is magic. So are the people.
Nine Lab Sprints were executed covering food, accessibility, climate change, ocean plastics, refugee crisis, and more. Musicians included Blind Pilot, Love La Femme, David Block from the Human Experience, and Mike Polarny of Sound Traveler.
In the final moments of preparation for the inaugural HATCH Mexico, we gathered the key staff at Rodavento, told them a little about why we are here, and what HATCH is – and to thank them. For hosting us – and for helping create the container for the magic that is about to ensue. We were incredibly grateful to be hosted in this amazing location, and to bring together leaders from 12 countries to address the pressing issues facing our planet and people, and to build bridges instead of walls.
“In total AWE! …this was taken just shortly after arriving to Rodavento, to my first Hatch. Little i knew it will change my life for the good and greatest! Five days with its nights full of wonder, creativity, the purest magic and the most amazing super humans coming together to make the difference, to try and change the world. So humbled, what an honor to take part.” – product designer Valentina Glez Wohlers
