Olivia Bulis

NEXTGEN – Olivia Bulis is a 16 yr old Junior in High School, a voice amplifier, change-maker, and advocate from a small but progressive town in Montana. As Olivia got older, venturing outside of her small town she was presented with issues that she had been sheltered from. Following the Marjory Stoneman Douglas shooting in 2018, Olivia witnessed young folks using their voice to stand up for what they believed in and was inspired to become an organizer in the local March for Our Lives Campaign. In the last two years, Olivia was awarded Senate Page for Senator Tester, made it to Speech and Debate Nationals (Ranked Top 50 in The Nation), was named Bozeman High School Principal’s Advisory Board Member, voted Vice President of Project X2+ (Bozeman High School’s intersectional feminism club), was on the organizer’s committee for Black Lives Matter Rally locally, was invited into the HATCH NextGen Fellows Program, helped build a school for BuildOn.org, is on the LGBTQ+ Education Allies Board, and received her Yoga Teaching Certification. Olivia continues to educate herself advocating for inclusivity and equity.
