HATCH HANGOVER PRESCRIPTION

Each year, many folks reach out to me and say they have a HATCH Hangover.  Me too.  I think it’s impossible not to.

Exiting that high concentration of superpowers, endorphins, oxytocin (“the love hormone”), dopamine, serotonin, adrenaline, and passion and….  suddenly the rest of the world looks dull. But it’s only a shift of the lens.  It’s what we do next, that counts.

HATCH changes my life too.  Every time.  New stories, new triumphs, new breakthroughs, new unsettling news.

I started thinking about a prescription for the HATCH HANGOVER.  Here’s what I’ve come up with so far.  This will be an ongoing work in progress, so please feel free to share ideas.

  1. WRITE YOUR TESTIMONIAL Please –  CLICK HERE
  2. Follow through on one of your OFFERS – set a weekly calendar alert to contact a HATCHer. Service makes you feel better.
  3. LISTEN! When you wish you could reinfuse yourself with some HATCH feeling, get quiet and listen. It’s our own secret teleportation back to this place and these people. Even for just a moment. It’s yours. It’s easy.
  4. SHARE GRATITUDE.  Write down people / things you are grateful for – and share that with those people.
  5. HOST a HATCHer dinner!
  6. Want more HATCH? Click for >> HATCH MEMBERSHIP to get invited to more HATCH events (it’s a “pay what you want model”)
  7. HUG your friends.  There’s a lot of science in hugging and human touch. Hugging is known to boost serotonin levels.
  8. WRITE.  There is powerful data on journaling and writing.  Expressive writing is a cornerstone of well-being and human thriving, including healing from trauma, finding meaning in suffering/hardships, and envisioning the life society we seek to create.
  9. Find NATURE.  Read HERE how Nature Can Make You Kinder, Happier, and More Creative
  10. Read 25 ways to increase Oxytocin, a neuro-transmitter that acts on the brain’s emotional center, promoting feelings of contentment, reducing anxiety and stress.
    • Yoga
    • Exercise
    • Music
    • Meditation
    • The right foods

I hope this helps!  More to come.

Sincerely, with deep gratitude and a big hug,

~ Yarrow & the HATCH family.
