Joel has been teaching environmental studies, sustainability, and adventure education at the secondary and college levels for over 40 years. The bulk of his career has been at Prescott College as a professor in their undergraduate and graduate programs. His teaching and research explore the ecology, conservation, and restoration of aridland river systems and watersheds in the American West, with a style that is interdisciplinary, experiential, and learner-centered. Through RIPARIA, which Joel founded, he works with river & watershed restoration projects in the American Southwest.

In 2021 for the state of Arizona, she supported the regulation of groundwater. Currently, Michellsey is thrilled to be of service to water and to Indigenous communities with Grand Canyon Trust.

Josiah is a landscape architect and ecological design consultant working at the nexus of ecology, infrastructure, and urban design. He has built two companies, was Director of Innovation at Sherwood Design Engineers, and Design Director at Rana CoHabitat. He has lectured widely, taught studio courses, and was Program Director for UC Berkeley’s Professional Certificate in Sustainable Design.
Inspired by institutions such as Rocky Mtn Institute and Esalen, he co-founded a farm community where he lives and works in Sonoma County. Josiah holds degrees from UCD & Harvard Graduate School of Design.

Jeanine M. Canty, PhD, is a professor of transformative studies at CIIS in San Francisco, telecommuting from Boulder, CO. A lover of nature, justice, and contemplative practice, her teaching intersects issues of social and ecological justice, ecopsychology, and the process of worldview expansion and change. Her most recent book is Returning the Self to Nature: Undoing our Collective Narcissism and Healing our Planet (Shambhala Publications 2022) and she is currently working on the 2nd edition of the edited collection Ecological and Social Healing: Multicultural Women's Voices (Routledge 2025).

Cain "Caiyam" Carroll is a modern mystic, pioneering mentor, and author whose embodiment of radical presence and teachings on awakened consciousness offer a fresh blueprint for the new humanity we yearn for. He has trained in Asian Wisdom Traditions since age 13 under the guidance of master teachers in India, Tibet, Nepal, China, Thailand, and USA. Katherine is the Director of Unorthodox Philanthropy, a program of a San Francisco-based family foundation that seeks to fund extraordinary people and ideas that have the potential to achieve outsized impact and do good in the world. Aurelia Anne Cohen was raised in the Southwest. She grew up on the Ak -Chin reservation and in Tucson AZ. She began studying circus arts at an early age and performed with flam Chen while still in High School. She has toured with Carpetbag Brigade and currently tours with her band, The Barn Swallows.

Annie Coleman is a holistic project manager with communications strategy, large-scale event production, and community real estate experience. She is skilled in systems planning, strategic problem solving, facilitation, and interpersonal relations. Annie currently serves as the Communications Director of Far Away Projects and is based in the mountains of central Mexico. Sharon is passionate about good food for all. Steven Donziger never imagined, when he joined a legal team bringing suit against Chevron for polluting Ecuador’s Amazon rainforest, that the case would take up a good portion of his life and define his career. Though he won the case, the largest levied against an oil company in history (9.5 billion $) He has paid a heavy price. Chevron successfully locked him up for almost 3 yrs. in jail, took his law license, his passport and had him disbarred. Thought Steven is out of Jail. He still is not free.

Stephanie Fine Sasse is a multimedia storyteller, experience designer, and researcher focused on centering community and imagination in civically-critical ideas. She founded The Plenary, Co., a nonprofit that crafts creative experiences to unlock society's collective knowledge on worldshaping issues.

Stephanie produces innovative learning experiences, participatory art showcases, and an initiative to challenge STEM stereotypes. Prior to this work, she was a neuroscience researcher, co-organized the March for Science, and published an essay collection on grassroots socio-scientific activism.

Ty is a naturalist, entrepreneur, and a ecosystem community developer based in Prescott, Arizona, where he is a owner and proprietor of the Raven Café, the Peregrine Book Company, the Deppeana Group, Gray Dog Music, and Raven Productions. Ty helped found the Natural History Institute and is a director of the Gwydion Fund for Wild Nature with Michaela Carter. He grew up in Bozeman, Montana and moved to Prescott 24 years ago for a fire lookout job. He’s passionate about preserving and studying the natural world, creating community, playing music, backcountry travel and reading.

Radhika Fox is a strategic and transformational leader addressing environmental, equity, and economic challenges facing people and the planet. Radhika served as the Assistant Administrator at the US EPA. Appointed by the President and confirmed with robust bipartisan support by the Senate, Radhika served as the chief advisor to the White House on domestic water resources matters. She is an Executive in Residence at PolicyLink and serves as a Senior Advisor to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Xylem.

Keri Frazier is a Phoenix born Caterer, Chef, and Event Planner. Her entrepreneurial spirit and love of creative street food led her into the Food Truck industry, where she founded Left Coast Burrito Co., named 10 Best Food Trucks (AZ REPUBLIC,), nominated for Food Truck of the Year (Scottsdale League of the Arts), and featured on all local news channels. Ivan Fritz is a child of Arcosanti with a lifelong history of involvement with the Cosanti Foundation, the film industry and business development. In his career he has worked with Oscar winning filmmakers, and led major technical initiatives, while also focusing on supporting human advancement in harmony with the Earth. This past October, he stepped into the role of Acting ED and CEO, while also leading the search with the board for the Cosanti Foundation’s next executive director. Douglas Hulmes, Professor Emeritus of Environmental Studies and Education, Prescott College. Josh Kirschenbaum is the chief advancement and special officer of PolicyLink, a national research and action institute that works to advance racial equity. Galen Lee is an Environmental Scientist at Prescott College, who is deeply passionate about understanding Earth's interconnected systems and how they can be harnessed to create solutions for current and future climate issues. Galen’s quest for knowledge drives him to contribute towards a sustainable future for all humans and ecosystems around the globe. Galen’s current research in the Grand Canyon is focused on tracking and documenting the re-emerging rapids caused by drought and water policy in the desert southwest.

Roshi Givechi provides design consulting services to large businesses, individual startup entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations looking to make a difference, while also developing her own short doc films. Common core? To enhance mindsets, crystalize experiences and amplify outcomes. After 19 years at global design firm IDEO, lastly as Partner – Executive Design Director, she coined her 2018 “creative sabbatical” before opting to consult. She loves shaping content, helping founders articulate their offer, and programming workshops with others to unlock individual and collective impact.

Currently she is producing HATCH Arcosanti & is the Community Cultivation & Production Steward at KAVANÂ, 30-acre oceanfront Retreat Center and Learning Institute dedicated to personal transformation for real-world impact.

Cole is a bright young man with unlimited promise. A proud English Major and lifelong pianist, Cole is passionate about art, music, and all things that bring people joy and meaning. Cole got his start with HATCH as a NextGen in 2016. He now works on the team at HATCH to keep Yarrow organized and bring sparkle and shine to HATCH’s internal processes. Cole is a youth coach for the Seattle Bouldering Project Climbing Team and a mentor for Alpha Climbing. In his free time, Cole loves building community, dancing to techno music, singing in the Seattle Men's Chorus, and climbing rocks.

Chris Kleine is an aspiring human looking for fun and sense in all of the chaos this world has to offer. Getting into Arcosanti was a two-year endeavor, and the past two years that I've lived here have been educational, inspiring, and transformative. I look forward to the next adventure I get into and exercising the lessons I've learned.

I am the co-founder of three nonprofits and a social impact consultant on leadership, culture, and DEIJ work. I serve as a spiritual guide for social justice leaders, clergy, and seekers of all faiths. Working in the South, I am a committed advocate for racial justice and civil and human rights. As the COO of HATCH and HATCH Studios, Jared manages and optimizes day-to-day operations and collaborations between internal teams and strategic external partners. His expertise enables him to bridge diverse groups for innovative human-centered, cross-industry projects. Jared holds a Master of Science in the History and Theory of Psychology and is also a Certified Sommelier. Beyond his professional life, he is passionate about the natural world, practicing qigong, and playing guitar. I am a graduate student at Prescott college, with a strong focus on environmental science, particularly in sustainable building and ecological design. My academic journey is enriched by a diverse array of practical skills and interests. Through carpentry and welding, merging precision with creativity. My hope is to enhance my ability to visualize and execute projects that are environmentally considerate and effective.

As the owner of MediaVision Productions, Brian has been producing impactful content for almost 30 years. Along with his human and fellow HATCHer Jill Bernstein, he produces and directs live events and shoots for clients in healthcare, social impact, CPG, music and innovation. He's a seasoned editor and motion graphics designer who thrives most when he's working on something he believes in. With a recent pivot to specializing in global remote recording, his passion is to use the latest technology to arm his clients with meaningful storytelling tools.

Adam is a lighting designer, musician, and bronze bell artisan, living at Arcosanti over the last five years. As a resident of Arcosanti Adam has been living and learning about the ins and outs of small scale, alternative community models around the world. Having recently returned from travels to Auroville, Findhorn, and Damanhur, he is currently integrating and synthesizing the observed patterns that exist within each visionary project. How do we, as humans in these times, return to collective systems of connection and care, while re-synthesize to our natural world?
