A force of nature, a retro-futuristic, voice percussionist virtuosa. The world’s first female beatboxing champion, Butterscotch has created a unique style and is the definition of a one woman band. She fuses multiple genres and creates layers of singing, beatboxing, guitar and keyboard, recorded live on her loop station, that sound like a live band. Johanna follows her heart, intuition, and passions. Founder of Danceador, a global dance movement dedicated to spreading awareness, preserving and celebrating our global legacy of movement. Her last acting scene was with a grizzly bear for the Travel Channel in Montana while her last movement adventure was dancing in an Indian wedding in Thailand. Prior to that she was in Ladakh, India helping to document Cham, a movement ritual performed by Buddhist monks.

Astronaut, just retired after 24 years at NASA. Former Chief of Robotics, Astronaut Office. 2 Space Shuttle missions, 100 million miles traveled, 180 days in space. Having had the privilige of seeing our Earth from space, Cady feels compelled to bring others along for the journey. Convinced that the key to solving hard problems is recognizing the greatness in the other members of our crew: the crew of Spaceship Earth.

Josh's goal is to awaken and empower young entrepreneurs. Prior to founding Q-Zero (formerly Catapult Ideas), he served as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence for Ashoka's Youth Venture, an organization that promotes a global culture of youth initiated positive change. HATCH Treasurer and epic Team Member, Fred Dent, CFA started Dent Asset Management in 1997. He is a frequent speaker and commentator on financial topics that inspire and educate, and is the resident financial analyst on CBS affiliate WAFB-TV in Baton Rouge. May be the only HATCHer who wears a coat and tie as part of his work costume.

A 6th generation Montanan born to a wild family of landless pioneer stock, Meg's work path has been diverse, from producing Pulitzer prize winning theater, creating small innovative arts organizations, to co-founding an award winning artisan coffee roasting company in the rural heart of north central Washington. She cares about creating resilient communities and nurturing new generations of fierce, creative open-hearted humans.

Yehuda Duenyas is an artist and experience director, and is the founder of the Emmy Award-winning Mindride, an experiential design company specializing in next-generation entertainment and technology. He has created experiences and productions for MGM/UA, Google/YouTube, Walt Disney Imagineering, the Ad Council, R/GA, and Droga 5, among others. Yehuda was the Experiential Director and designer for the AdCouncil’s Love Has No Labels, which went viral in 2015 with over 1 billion media impressions.

Steven is an Assistant Vice President at RBC Capital Markets with over ten years of experience in equity research and investment banking. Steven also spent three years in Panama involved in real estate brokerage and investment, and currently serves on the HATCH Advisory Board with a focus on financial modeling and business planning, analysis, and development.

Singer-songwriter for the band Black Lab. After two major label record deals, top radio singles and several national tours, Paul went on to start an indie record label, a music production and licensing house, a ringtones company, and other sundry music-related ventures. His songs litter film, trailers, TV shows, and commercials, including Spider-Man, House MD, The Covenant, Blade, and Honda. Also a meditation instructor and facilitator, he is currently leading the development of the HATCHedu Coach program.

Called “Her Deepness” by The New York Times and “Living Legend” by the Library of Congress, Sylvia was Time magazine’s first “Hero for the Planet.” She has led over 100 expeditions, logged more than 7,000 hours underwater, authored more than 200 publications and lectured in 90 countries. She is the founder of both Mission Blue and Deep Ocean Exploration and Research Inc. (DOER). She is an Ocean Elder, the Advisory Council Chair of the Harte Research Institute, and a former Chief Scientist of NOAA.

Jacob is a champion of Applied Entertainment and a founder of Greater Studios, which creates games at the intersection of fun and wearables that aim to catalyze and facilitate physical, cognitive, and emotional fitness.
Prior to work with wearables, VR, and game development, he was the Executive Producer for Whole Food Market’s award winning Dark Rye magazine and TV show. Jacob also teaches meditation.

Annalisa is a professor of social work at USC, turning classrooms into brave spaces and training the next generation of change makers. She traces her roots back to the Philippines, where she became a human rights defender and anti-trafficking warrior. She continues to work on both sides of the Pacific and across other oceans fighting to end modern day slavery. Annalisa believes in the transformative power of stories, the strength of community and the promise of innovation and design.

A graduate of Cornell and the Columbia Business School, Nt Etuk is Founder of FitGrid, which builds private social networks for studios and fitness communities. Nt is also Founder of DimensionU, creator of 3D multi-player educational videogames. Elysa is a healer of creativity, designer of products, champion of learning & maker of covetable things. She is the co-founder of Artepreneurship Academy, a program to inspire personal and global change through art+design+entrepreneurship powered creative residencies. As Google's first designer-in-residence, she facilitates human-centered design processes & spearheads social impact programs. At The Creative Nomad Project, she leads global organizations to foster creativity in education & sustainable impact. Elysa teaches at the Stanford d.school & spends her free time playing in the studio.

Oman has 20 years of experience in teaching and diversity leadership. He is a gifted motivator and educator who combines real world topics with academic rigor in a way that makes learning personally meaningful for his students. Oman has conducted workshops around the country. He creates curriculum that helps students understand the effects of oppression on underserved communities and inspires commitment to social justice. He has been featured in many different media outlets and continues to strive to change the world.

From working on brand stories to artists like The Flaming Lips and John Lee Hooker, training at NYU Tisch Asia, and appearing on reality shows, to exposing human trafficking at its very pulse in South Asia, Erin continues to challenge herself for a deeper understanding of the true essence of what makes people tick. Erin has lived in Portland, OR for the past 5 years producing content for brands like Nike, Columbia Sportswear, the University of Oregon, and collaborates on music videos with local bands like Emancipator.

Kiran, known by her stage name Madame Gandhi, is an electronic music artist, singer, activist and Harvard MBA based in Los Angeles. Having gained recognition as the former drummer for M.I.A. and as the iconic free-bleeding runner at the 2015 London Marathon, Madame Gandhi now writes music that elevates and celebrates the female voice.

Marcus is currently devoted to angel investing and advising start ups through his venture fund, NVOLVD Venture Capital. The fund works side-by-side with entrepreneurs in the areas most critical to the success for their new ventures –- product, customer, and marketing development. As a devoted yoga practitioner Marcus has recently begun yoga and meditation programs with incarcerated young men at Riker’s Island Prison.

Mark has developed concept design for "Minority Report," Constantine," "X-men 2," "Superman," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," "Fantastic Voyage," and "Avatar." As an industrial designer he contributed advanced concepts for BMW/Designworks, Intel, Toyota, Honda, and the High Roller wheel in Las Vegas. He is taking these influences and knowledge as well as a background in manufacturing to found eqogo, a robust platform to evaluate products for their long term value and environmental impacts.

Jordan is the first and only person with a degree in Magic from Indiana University. Recently he was crowned a champion of magic by the Academy of Magical Arts at the Magic Castle. Jordan has performed in the most prestigious and exclusive venues, including the Bohemian Grove, The Magic Castle, and Club 33 at Disneyland. He has fooled countless celebrities, CEOs, magicians, and the world’s smartest thinkers, including David Copperfield and Elon Musk. In addition, Jordan consults as a magical thinker and experience designer for a variety of clients looking to achieve the impossible.

Elke is an entrepreneur, mom, and Founder of Mamalode, which has been called "America's BEST parenting magazine" by Lisa Stone, CEO of BlogHer. Elke has been featured in Real Simple, AdTech, Where Women Create, Forbes, and named one of Top 100 Creatives by Origins Magazine. She started her first business at the age of 16 as a welder. Her sweet spot lies in the intersection of creativity and tenacity.

Rhia Gowen is a dance curator and transformational coach, and is currently working on ocean conservation with Mission Blue. In her work as a movement teacher, she fuses Eastern and Western multimedia dance-theatre. Her dance work is full of the vivid imagery and mythology of the East, as well as of her love for nature and humanity.

Shauna brings nearly 20 years of experience in marketing, partnerships, sports, entertainment, retail and social impact. She led ground-breaking campaigns for NIKE and the WNBA, the NBDL, Nets Basketball, and numerous clients for LeadDog Marketing Group. She's a strategic, creative team player who combines passion, leadership and results. Developing people and leading successfully through organizational change and major launches have been hallmarks of her career. She's a former two sport Division I collegiate athlete, yogi, avid cyclist, and lover and protector of our environment.

Founder of Secret Road Music, a worldwide music licensing, publishing, supervision and management company focusing on elevating the careers of independent artists. Secret Road work in film/tv placement helped launch the careers of Walk the Moon, American Authors, Fitz & the Tantrums, and management client Ingrid Michaelson.

Tom Gruber is a product designer and entrepreneur who uses technology to augment human intelligence. He was cofounder and head of design for Siri, the intelligent personal assistant on Apple's latest devices. Previously, he led design and technology for pioneering companies in collective knowledge systems and collaborative knowledge management, harvesting the contributions of people working together online. His research in artificial intelligence helped lay the foundation for the Semantic Web. He is passionate about contact improvisation and underwater photography.

Amanda is CMO at ConsenSys, the largest and fastest growing blockchain company focused on building the Ethereum ecosystem. Amanda is also a creator of Ethereal, a technology event series that has been dubbed the "SXSW of blockchain." In 2016, she was listed by Forbes Magazine in its "30 Under 30 in Media" list, and by Inc. Magazine as one of "30 Under 30 Movers and Shakers in the Content Industry." Before ConsenSys, Amanda cofounded Slant, a decentralized media platform, and was Special Projects Editor at The Huffington Post.

Fawwaz is Dean of the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University. An applied physicist and ceramicist, he teaches SEAS courses on fabrication, NEMS/MEMS/microfluidics, and design at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Working in the imaging industry for many years, he started two companies creating fast digital imaging electronics. He is also interested in the UN sustainable development goals (SDG).

Formerly Senior Vice President at Paradigm Direct (now Tranzact.net), Meredith has 15-plus years of experience as a consultant to fast-growth organizations (Spotify, Goldman Sachs, SoulCycle, etc.). She teaches at top educational institutions and is a frequent expert for media outlets including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, CNBC, CNN, Fast Company and Forbes. Meredith is also a dynamic public speaker with special expertise in creating thriving workplaces and organizations -- recent audiences have included those at SXSW, C2 and WorkHuman.

After 8 years and 17 patents in clean energy research and development at Tesla Motors and Makani Power, Brian recognized that the changes he wanted to see would no further come from progress in energy systems technologies but through a global awakening and the subsequent advancements in cultural economic and political power structures. Brian is committed to developing a truly sustainable world, currently exploring AI as a tool to attack these power structures, including helping individuals become their best selves.

After two decades in public education, including 12 as a building principal, Pete has shifted his emphasis to building the leadership and internal capacity of businesses, systems, teams, and individuals to set and meet their goals. He's launched two small business enterprises: EducationHall to emphasize educational re-imaging, and Strive Success Solutions to support all other fields. An author of seven educational leadership books with aspirations to pen a novel or three, Pete lives with his amazing family in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Phil has over 18 years of experience developing and leading strategies and teams in the interactive marketing industry. Ariba leads and executes on human-centered design and innovation strategy at the Ad Council, the nation's largest producer of nonprofit communications. With a background in biomechanical engineering and medicine, she has presented research at national conferences in neural engineering, cardiothoracic surgery and orthopaedic surgery with a focus on patient driven product improvements and developments. Outside of the office, Ariba enjoys being active, from lifting to hiking (she climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro) and her volunteer work, where she mentors high schoolers to pursue careers in tech.

Saul is the founder of the Business Innovation Factory (BIF) and author of The Business Model Innovation Factory: How to Stay Relevant when the World Is Changing. He started BIF in 2005 to make transformation safer and easier to manage for leaders who get it. BIF is a non-profit real world laboratory to explore and test next practices and new business models in areas of high social importance including health care, education, and public services.

Finn has spent the greater part of the last 20 years dedicated to creating a more playful universe. Inspired by his travels through South Amerca and his first experience at Burning Man, he teamed up with Ian Fraser to co-found The Go Game, a new form of public entertainment centered around creative expression and discovery. Shona is an artist, designer, researcher, and educator who explores the consequences of our technological landscape. Graduate and research fellow at The Royal College of Art. Yarrow is an accomplished photographer, a director at Virgin Produced, an Aspen Institute Fellow, and was named 2015 top 100 creatives by Origins Magazine. Yarrow has been building global networks since 1999 when he started one of the first social media properties (The Hero Project, aka Superdudes and Supernation, connecting real life heroes making the world a better place) which had 1.5 million subscribers when Fox acquired it in 2003. When he was 5, Nicholas visited a homeless shelter and was shocked to find that some of the children there did not own a pair of shoes. A few years later, he started the Gotta Have Sole Foundation, a non-profit that has provided new shoes to more than 65,000 homeless and vulnerable children nationwide since 2010. He has engaged over 5,000 students who run Gotta Have Sole clubs in their areas and began a scholarship program. Adrien has been a Zoox VP, Google X project lead, and Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon. Austin Wang is an undergraduate student studying computer science. Since 2013, he has been researching waste to electricity conversion using bacteria, and his work has received numerous awards. In 2015, Austin won Best Project at the Canada-Wide Science Fair, and the Grand Prize at the International Sanofi BioGENEius Challenge. More recently, he was the recipient of the top prize Gordon E. John is the founding director of the Warren Miller Performing Arts Center in Big Sky and teaches music at Lone Peak High School. Through HATCH, he co-founded the Ostinato Project with Philip Sheppard, Russell Spurlock, and Yarrow Kraner in 2015.

Graham is a senior at Bozeman High where he is an officer in the school's gender equity club, X Squared. He is a member of the Bridger Ski Foundation Competitive Nordic Ski Team, and a decent Latin dancer. He plays the stand-up bass in a bluegrass band, volunteers with the local land trust, and can fix a flat on a bike tire with pine cones. When not skiing or biking, he can be found at home tending to his flock of messenger pigeons.

Ella passed the last year living in Portugal, learning the Portuguese language and immersing herself in its history and culture. She began writing music at the age of 9 and has continued to do so with the piano and guitar. She is passionate about the environment, and this summer has participated in Montana Conservation Corps with a crew of 7 women in the woods of central Montana.

Cole's photographs have been published in National Geographic, and he is the photo editor and a reporter for his school paper Hawk Tawk, as well as the creator of Hawk Tawk’s podcast. He loves playing classical piano and plans to pursue it in his future. He is part of Bridgercare and Haven’s Peer Education team where he teaches sexual/reproductive health, healthy relationships, and gender and sexuality to Montana high schoolers and community members.

I am a graduating junior in neuroscience, a premed student with research experience in biology, chemistry, and autonomic disorders. I am passionate about people living their best life possible. For me, this revolves around a holistic approach to health and integrating knowledge of oneself so that our bodies can feel good and function as best as they were built to. This belief has driven me to found CalmLet to manage stress, share health knowledge through nutrition counseling, yoga and group fitness.

Royce Mann is a 10th grader at the Paideia School where he plays for the baseball team. He is passionate about social activism, politics, travel, acting, & being a kid, among other things. Since the video of Royce performing a poem titled "White Boy Privilege" at his school's poetry slam went viral, Royce has been asked to speak around the country & has continued following in his parents' footsteps through his activism & political work, including internships for Democratic candidates.

Dounia is a student at Big Sky High School, a film maker, photographer, beekeeper, artist, creative mind, and friend.

Althea is a senior at Bozeman High School, where she is active in Speech and Debate (with her partner Ava), is passionate about her role at the Cancer Support Center, and is a volunteer at Haven, the domestic violence prevention organization in Bozeman. She is endlessly curious about the world and loves to explore. Her adventures have lead her into the mountains, across North America, and all the way to Egypt.

Ethan in a NextGen HATCHer and passionate entrepreneur with a strong interest in science and robotics. He has a huge desire to do something impactful for humans and earth with what time the universe can provide.

Disha founded Savy at the MIT Launch Summer Program. She continued developing her company during her senior year of high school with the aid of the Catapult Ideas and Draper University. After graduating, Disha decided to forgo college, teach herself how to code and work on building Savy. Most recently, she worked with gang leaders from the Bloods, Crips and GDs in a six-week entrepreneurship bootcamp.

Kylie wrote and recorded her first song when she was twelve. Since then, she has written intensely, locking herself in her room and honing her skills on the piano, guitar, & ukulele. Now 16, Kylie has crafted these works into a daring debut EP. Her first single, "Lying Eyes," explores the dark depths of being in a dishonest relationship, and the difficult situations that come along with it.

Taliq Tillman is a senior at The Met High School in Providence, Rhode Island where he is driven by curiosity and his passion for learning. Taliq is an actor, photographer and activist who strongly believes that empathy is his most powerful tool. Most of his work is interdisciplinary; from arts integration to social activism through creative direction and photography. One motif in his work is the idea of otherness and understanding. Taliq is currently an intern at Trinity Repertory Company, Communications director for Cep Journal, and student facilitator and co-founder of Diversity Talks.

Maris is 17 years old (18 on September 16th), a singer-songwriter from Missoula, Montana. She just moved to New York City to pursue a career in music. In music she values the connection and communication between artist and listener, as well as the expression and release she experiences through it.

Myles is a 16 year old who really loves tech, mainly the electrical side of things. I have dipped my feet into many different branches of the tech world, from programming to soldering and even 3D modeling. I went to HATCH last year and it was life changing. I met some amazing people because of this event, and even got to have lunch with one of them almost a year later at the main Intel HQ.

Maiah's haunting vocals are often compared to the likes of Birdy, Fiona Apple, and Florence Welch. She was the 2017 winner of Claim to Fame's international songwriting competition. At 20 years old she has played across the northwest at some of the most prestigious festivals and venues in the country including the Roseland Theater, Hotel Cafe, South by Southwest, Sundance, and Red Ants Pants Music festival.

Joe is an entertainment and digital media attorney with extensive entrepreneurial experience, both in law and practice. He is also the President of Red Storm Defense, LLC, a start-up non-lethal defense technology company. A native Montanan who spent most of his professional career in Hollywood and the Bay Area, Joe now lives in Missoula and is a member of the California and Montana Bars. His Superdude name: Holster. Julia is a creative entrepreneur with a passion for social impact and economic development. She is the founder of 406 Social Media & Marketing, a boutique consulting firm focusing on revitalizing digital strategy and refocusing brands to optimize engagement. Julia is currently working with TangoTab CEO and HATCHer Andre Angel, to launch TangoTab in Montana (#becauseofHATCH). Travel, family, and spontaneous adventures with her two-year-old spitfire keep her inspired.

An Indiana transplant to the mountains of Montana, Jose has logged over 1,000 days as a guide of backcountry expeditions. She has studied community based conservation and ecotourism around the world, and has come to believe in the powers of inquiry and adventure to empower the human spirit. She creates transformative experiences through her work as a ski instructor, guide, facilitator, and camp director, and is thankful for the opportunity to be part of the inspirational energy of HATCH.

After graduating with a bachelor in Film Production from Montana State University, Zane has been busy pursuing the stories that intrigue him. He has worked on national spots and traveled the world filming documentaries & commercial content based in the outdoor industry. His passion lies in telling stories relevant to the outdoor experience. He has done work for brands like Sage, 66 north, Yeti, Howler Brothers, among others.

At the age of 6 years old, Eleni planned to have her and her friends become presidents of the nations in the world in order to unite all human beings. Currently, in college, Eleni is double majoring in Human Geography and Mechanical Engineering Technology with the goal of building stuff to help people.

Erin is a graphic design student at Montana State University in Bozeman. She enjoys interdisciplinary collaboration, the feeling of satisfaction after hard work well done, and spending time outdoors. She hopes to use design with intelligence and compassion to provide a voice to communities, companies, and individuals.

Steve is an artist, storyteller and native Montanan. He has worked with clients including DC Comics, Warner Bros. and many others. He creates hand-drawn animated videos for clients like The Red Cross, Intel, The New Yorker, etc. He is passionate about visual art of all kinds and I’m committed to a career that might take any number of forms but will always involve drawing and telling stories.

Heidi DuBose developed a passion for writing and directing at a young age. Forbidden to indulge in the wonders of television, radio, and movies, she was forced to use her imagination to paint the world around her. Heidi attended Montana State University and graduated with a Bachelor in Arts in Film. She in post production with the teen horror musical "Feral" that was funded via Kickstarter and developing her next project for television "The Alchemy of Alexis Rose". She is the 2nd unit mixer and boom operator for TNT's "The Librarians" starring Noah Wylie & John Larroquette.

Robert is a real estate investor and developer, historical preservation activist, and urban agriculture innovator. He seeks to solve economic, civic and social development of communities in subtle and big ways. He is passionate about preserving and creating places worth caring about so current and future generations can thrive and be inspired by their surroundings.

Steeped in a strong love of music, Dee noticed a missing connectors between music instructors, instruments, and the children of Jackson county. With over 49% of the 51,000 children in Jackson County living below the poverty level, Fretwell realized a void that needed to be filled. These kids deserved the chance to find expression and development through music! And this is the mission of the Modern Roots Foundation, creating a musical synergy between financially challenged kids and music instruction.

A disruptor of the status quo, Jason parlayed a scholarship to Berklee School of Music into a diverse military career as a paratrooper and member of the Presidential Honor Guard. Justin is a freelance architectural designer currently residing in Santa Barbara. He focuses on design, documentation and fabrication of the projects he works on. Originally from Lavina, Montana, Justin has worked on notable projects such as the SkyPark at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and the United States Institute of Peace in Washington D.C. Currently he is developing the design for a boutique hotel in Nicaragua.

If it has a cable, wire, plug or blinky light attached, chances are Greg has messed with it. For the past 20 years, he has called the television industry home, working as a system designer, sound editor and audio mixer for a wide variety of programming. Greg has written specialized apps and integrated game design into broadcast productions for Disney Channel and shows like "The Hero," "King of the Nerds," and Fox's "Superhuman." At HATCH he makes the screens and microphones work.

Beth lived and worked in North Carolina, Washington, DC and New York City before moving to Bozeman in 2015. Wisetail is a next generation learning management system (LMS) that allows you to build your brand, communicate your culture, and grow your community. Before joining Wisetail's Client Experience team, Beth worked in marketing and non-profit development, serving as the development director at the Charlotte Bridge Home and the Charlotte chapter of the ALS Association.

After a few years as a webmaster for the Forest Service, Emma found herself in Big Sky, Montana as a snowboarding and skiing instructor. She spent last summer in Yellowstone area as a guide and last winter in Santa Cruz working in the cycling industry. A Media Art graduate from MSU, Emma is looking to get back into design.

Rachel brings color and intricate design to her work as an event specialist and communications professional. With more than a decade in nonprofit management as the Director of Communications at the Archie Bray Foundation, an international nonprofit and artist-in-residence program, Rachel has played an integral role in fostering a supportive artistic community that spans the globe. She is a lover of color, strategy and fundraising.

An MFA graduate student at Montana State University, Nick has an extensive background in broadcast television, starting in various positions with Klamath Community Television before moving to Montana, and as a Technical Director with TEDxBozeman since 2014. Additionally, Nick works as a freelance video editor and as a bartender at The Ellen Theater.

Rob spent four decades working with hardware and software technology in both public and private sector organizations building systems, processes and teams in 38 countries, including a decade spent living in Asia. Rob has invested in and coached multiple startups, as well as working to improve education at all levels to help prepare America's youth for the technology that will shape their (and our country's) future. Currently he is helping to develop the HATCHedu Coach program.

Playing violin since the age of three, Kaito works to create new perceptions of the violin through different techniques and sounds. In 2005 he took second place at the Montana Fiddle Contest in Red Lodge Montana and won Hawks Night Live in 2016. He was a featured speaker/performer for TEDx Bozeman in 2015 and performed again in 2016. He recently left CalArts to become the first HATCHedu Coach client, pursuing a music career in Los Angeles.

When the Prime Minister asked her to carve for the King of Bhutan, Amber became the first female to carve in a country renowned for its tradition of woodcarving. Wood is just one of the many mediums Amber has mastered to express her creative vision. Breaking boundaries, inspiring others, living authentically and leaving an impression seem to be her thing whether she is creating art, storytelling, ice climbing, or dreaming.

Music educator, cellist, and working (really hard) at being a choir teacher. Cookie decorator, dog walker, pop music listener. I love working with kids, young adults, teenagers. "Being an adult is the dumbest thing I have ever done."

Claire is an advocate and outdoor enthusiast studying study chemical engineering, microbiology, and economics. Currently, she is a Survivor Advocate at Haven and a volunteer peer educator at the VOICE Center at Montana State University. She is also a mentor instructor for Pink Gloves Boxing. When not in a coffee shop, you can find Claire exploring the great outdoors and enjoying quality time with friends.

Ben is a drummer and percussionist living in Venice, California. He has toured the West Coast and Colorado extensively with the funk-tacular jam band mamaSutra, and visited Mt. Fuji, Japan with The Dave Boyles Trio to play The Asagiri Festival. From playing percussion in a pit orchestra for musical theater to straight ahead Jazz gigs, heavy metal bands and roots reggae, Ben's versatility leaves him inspired and ready for the next adventure.

A fish native to uncomfortable situations and faux pas, bred in the murky waters of idealism and musicianship. Anson is an engineering student who feels compelled to not become an engineer, like a Golden Retriever with a smart gaze but an inability to express himself. He seeks expression by swimming up the rapids of songwriting and poetry to the headwaters of bliss.

Colleen is a former ski instructor, raft guide, USFS wildland firefighter, ski patrol and camp counselor. She is now an e-commerce entrepreneur, reselling estate finds on eBay and designing t-shirts to sell on Amazon. She loves to spend time camping, back country skiing, and traveling with her three kids, husband and dog Lolly.

Greta has dedicated her personal and professional life to youth leadership development, fighting climate change, and painting colorful flora/fauna. She coordinates Girls for a Change, a program of Thrive in Bozeman, MT, that works to empower the next generation of female leaders. She is also a member of Citizens Climate Lobby and is a volunteer mentor. She enjoys making art, live music, and food from other cultures.

Nic Najjar is a budding entrepreneur from Chattanooga, Tennessee. Over the past three years, he has built two successful outdoor maintenance businesses while keeping an eye out for more impactful ways to improve the world. He finished his first year of college at Denison University where he played lacrosse and is now taking a gap year in Montana with plans to finish his education at MSU.

Michael is a disruptor in the industrial internet of things. He seeks strategic mergers and acquisitions while innovating in the space of automation and thermal imagers at Fortive, a Fortune 500 company. He graduated in engineering from MSU while competing as a NCAA D1 athlete in track and performing research at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the University of Stuttgart. Michael has been with the HATCH team since he was a HATCH groundbreaker in 2013.

Cory cut her teeth in the music industry managing day-to-day operations on the road, touring with artists such as Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Linkin Park and Miley Cyrus. These days, she produces award-winning consumer engagement events for Fortune 500 companies in the field of experiential marketing. Through White Owl Collective, she is focused on personal development coaching, brand development and event production consulting for creative entrepreneurs.

Rob is a professional videographer, photographer, FAA approved drone pilot, musician, and outdoor adventurer. Specializing in short form video promos for the web, he focuses on amplifying the good in the world through genuine storytelling and captivating camerawork. He has served businesses, universities, non-profits, and artists both nationally and internationally. He was raised in Michigan, educated at Brown University, and currently based in Providence, Rhode Island.

Jessica spent her 20's freelance writing in Los Angeles, a job that exposed her to inspiring and creative individuals across many platforms, including music, art and design. Now the Production Director for Richter Media, a creative agency specializing in animated videos, Jessica interfaces with clients from hundreds of industries and works with her production team to deliver high quality videos. Clients include Google, IBM and AT&T.

Currently a student at Montana State University, Turner also works for outdoor startup Waypoint TV. An avid Bowhunter and Fly Fisherman, he has traveled around the globe to Kiribati, the Bahamas and North America in pursuit of fair chase game and fish. His goal is to implement key conservational strategies in the outdoor industry in order to keep crucial habitat and game around for generations to come.

In high school, Brendan co-founded a pressure washing company that had 8 employees and served over 60 customers. An internship with Lamp Post Group, a venture capital incubator in his hometown of Chattanooga, TN, changed his outlook on the world. As a freshman at Montana State University, he worked at the Blackstone Launchpad, mentored a masters student to learn app development in React Native, and was elected to be the President of LaunchCats.

Scott has over 20 years experience in the business of art direction and design as an art director, prop stylist, set dresser, set decorator, construction, painter, and production designer for the print, television, music video and film businesses. He is the lighting designer for HATCH.

Alex is a musician, composer, mastering engineer, and post-production audio engineer in the L.A. area. He plays with a wide variety of bands in different styles. His music can be heard in shows such as The Hero and King Of The Nerds, and he did the post-production audio editing and mixing of the independent film Dimensions. He plays bass, guitar, and harmonica.

Sara Mo is an intellectually curious organizer, a social justice enthusiast, and an avid adventure seeker. She is a senior at Montana State University, studying Psychology and Political Science with research focuses in behavioral economics and collective political memory. She loves to speak but yearns to listen -- tell her your story.

Chris began her career as an attorney and real estate finance associate at Latham & Watkins LLP. Chris was Co-Executive Coordinator for TEDxBozeman 2017 and is currently the Experience Design Team Lead of HATCH, as well as Director of Operations for Philip Sheppard (#becauseofHATCH), a ski instructor at Yellowstone Club and also an artist, innovator, adventurer, singer, songwriter, photographer, and killer chef.

Nani is originally from Honolulu, but moved to New York City where she spent a decade working in industries spanning film to hospitality to technology. She now lives in Venice, California as a Film Producer at 72andSunny, a global marketing, advertising, and design agency. Despite living a few blocks from the ocean, she still doesn't surf very well.

Avi is a mechanical engineer and musician. He enjoys working on cars and playing soul music on electromechanical pianos and organs.
