Inclusive Cities
A global blueprint for urban inclusion
A framework and roadmap targeting 100 cities globally — moving beyond accessibility as accommodation toward inclusion as foundational architecture.
Cities are where most humans live — and where the gap between inclusion as a stated value and inclusion as lived experience is most visible and most consequential.
HATCH developed a global blueprint challenging cities to move beyond accessibility as accommodation and toward inclusion as foundational architecture — redesigning systems, spaces, and services around the full spectrum of human experience, from the ground up.
Outcomes
Launched in 2021, the initiative established a framework and roadmap targeting 100 cities globally. The blueprint has been applied as a model for inclusive urban redesign across multiple geographies.
