HATCH Team Positions

HATCH is looking for passionate, self-motivated, and dedicated individuals to join the HATCH2017 Planning and Execution Team for the HATCH North America Experience from September 20 – 24, 2017 at Moonlight Basin. This is a great opportunity to join a community, movement, and a series of experiences designed to ACTIVATE CREATIVITY to HATCH a better world, all while gaining greater experience in a position that interests you! HATCH was founded 13 years ago by Yarrow Kraner as an annual, 100% curated, exclusive, invite-only, four day “think-tank meets retreat” of 100 curated creators and do’ers that are at the headwaters of creativity across a range of disciplines. Actively designed to stimulate new thinking and lifelong collaborations, HATCH nurtures a passionate community, supports innovative thinking with 360 mentorship, fills immersive environments with provocative ideas, and makes sure there’s plenty of play in Montana’s breathtaking mountains. Just like our guests, we hand pick the best and the brightest for HATCH team opportunities. HATCH team members are heavily involved with the planning and production of events and have the unique opportunity to immerse into small mentor break out sessions, and prototype camps with global thought leaders, get advice and feedback on ideas.  We want to collaborate with people who will see and can benefit from the value of this unique experience as well as play an integral role in carrying it forward.  If this describes you, please see below for descriptions of positions that we are currently accepting applications for.

Event Only Team Member (Filled for 2017!)

This team member will assist the various Lead Coordinators and will be responsible for addressing a variety of logistical event needs related to (though not limited to) Guest Experience, Venue and Stage Design, Social Media, and Video and Production. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has the ability to independently identify needs and deliver solutions and is also able to efficiently execute specific directions. The ideal candidate will have strong organization and communication skills, attention to detail, flexibility, reliability, and thrives in a fast-paced and exciting environment. This team member must be available in September for pre-event set up, throughout the event, and for post-event breakdown.

Graphic Design (Filled for 2017!)

This team member will assist the lead Graphic Design Coordinator and will be responsible for creating the artistic and graphic design, branding and feel for the 2017 HATCH North America Experience, including programs, badges, swag bag materials, posters etc. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with graphic design, copywriting and coordinating with graphic design and print teams is a plus. This team member must be available from June through the end of September for regular planning meetings and execution of projects, for pre-event set up, throughout the event, and for post-event breakdown.

Guest Experience (Filled for 2017)

This team member will assist the lead Guest Experience Coordinators and will be responsible for organizing HATCH activities, food, accommodations, preparations, transportation and schedules of the guests. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and administrative skills, be detail oriented, and enjoys coordinating and communicating with varied personality types. This team member must be available from June through the end of September for regular planning meetings and execution of projects, for pre-event set up, throughout the event, and for post-event breakdown.

Venue and Stage Design (Filled for 2017)

This team member will assist the lead Venue and Stage Design Coordinator and will be responsible for assisting with creation, construction and execution of the venue and stage design. The ideal candidate will have a background in architecture or prior experience in venue and stage design and construction. This team member must be available from June through the end of September for regular planning meetings and execution of projects, for pre-event set up, throughout the event, and for post-event breakdown.       

Content & Social Media (Filled for 2017)

This team member will assist the lead Social Media Coordinator and will be responsible for creating and managing a strong online presence for the 2017 HATCH North America Experience, including cross-channel, high impact social media posts. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with managing and planning social media for events and/or organizations. This team member must be available from June through the end of September for regular planning meetings and execution of projects, for pre-event set up, throughout the event, and for post-event breakdown.

Video and Production (Filled for 2017)

This team member will assist the lead Video and Production Coordinator and will be responsible for overseeing the video production of the 2017 HATCH North America Experience – from managing audio and video needs and a technical crew.  The ideal candidate will have prior experience with video production. This team member must be available from June through the end of September for regular planning meetings and execution of projects, for pre-event set up, throughout the event, and for post-event breakdown.

Video Editor (Filled for 2017)

This team member is responsible for post-production editing of the video footage from the 2017 HATCH North America Experience. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in editing high definition video and access to video editing software. This team member must be available in September for pre-event set up, throughout the event, for post-event breakdown and through completion of video edit.

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

As a member of the HATCH2017 Planning and Execution Team you will receive the following compensation and benefits:

  • Access and full interaction to certain HATCH North America Experience workshops and seminars when you are not on active duty (exclusive opportunity, value of $2,500.00)
  • Access to the HATCH Network
  • Food and accommodations at Moonlight Basin for the pre-event set up, throughout the event, and the post-event breakdown (value of $1,250.00)
  • HATCH swag bag (value of $50.00)
